Since the Atomic Kitten days, Natasha has continued to chalk up numerous career highlights. Her debut stage role as Peter Pan (in January 2010) alongside Les Dennis and none other than The Fonz himself Henry Winkler, sold out 35 shows in just 25 days. The songstress performed alongside the late, great Robin Gibb and she also went on to tour with the legend that is Lionel Ritchie, who was said to be blown away by her talent! At the end of 2009 - and just before announcing her pregnancy of third son Alfie - Natasha was invited to New York and Philadelphia to record a debut solo album with Jim Beanz and Toby Gad - two of the World’s most successful producers and the men behind Nelly Furtado, Fergie and Beyonce’s hot records. Plans for her solo release were trumped by a dream-offer to play the coveted lead role in Kenwright’s West End production of ‘Blood Brothers.’ Alongside her successes in music and now onstage, her triumphs in TV have been many, from 2 hit series of the BBC1 show ‘Just the Two of Us’ (including being the judges’ winner on the 1st series) to her appearance in Celebrity Come Dine With Me which helped that episode gain a nomination as funniest reality TV episode on the 2010 National TV awards. Her competitive nature has seen her win numerous celebrity challenges on TV including ‘Celebrity Mr and Mrs’, ‘Celebrity Family Fortunes’ and ‘Celebrity Weakest Link’ all raising substantial sums for her favourite charities. Rewind 11 years to 1999 and 16 year old Natasha Hamilton had just joined the fledgling future global superstars Atomic Kitten... 2 months after she joined, the Kittens’ signed their first deal with EMI/Innocent and she soon rose to fame with the band’s debut hit "Right Now" hitting the top ten in December 1999. It took another 13 months of hard work and globetrotting - as well as new member Jenny Frost replacing Kerry Katona - before the band released their anthem, the worldwide number 1 smash hit "Whole Again" which topped the UK chart for 4 amazing weeks and was a global hit reaching the number 1 spot in 19 countries. They followed this huge success with another number 1 “Eternal Flame” and the number 1 album “Right Now”. The Kittens' 2nd album “Feels So Good” continued where Right Now left off delivering another worldwide number 1 with “The Tide Is High”. The band topped the singles, albums and dvd charts simultaneously, still the only girl group to ever achieve this feat. The album went on to sell more than a million and a half copies spawning a further top 3 top 5 singles with “The Last Goodbye” and the dancefloor smash “Be With You”. The Kittens also became the face of MTV Asia for a full 12 months and began collecting the first of many international music awards and nominations including Brit and MTV Europe Award nominations for Best Pop Act. The band also had their own Corvette sportscar and UK MG Touring Car racing team and raced at the legendary Le Mans circuit. In 2002 Natasha was part of the biggest girl pop group in the world with more than 10 million worldwide record sales. They released the first single from their 3rd album, the fantastic “If You Come to Me” in September 2003 which gave them yet another top 3 single and followed this with the triple platinum selling “Ladies Night” album with the title track (on which they duetted with none other than Kool and the Gang themselves) giving the band yet another top 5 single and yet another global smash. Just ahead of the start of their arena tour in January 2004 the band announced they were taking an extended break and released their greatest hits package to coincide with the tour while the Wembley concert gave the band their first number 1 concert DVD. Natasha then took a year and a half out devoting herself to son Josh and delivering his brother Harry on New Year’s Eve 2005. In 2007 she prepared to return to her musical career and began writing and recording her first solo songs. Bringing to mind an early Tina Turner her enormous and impressive vocals are the bedrock of the enormously danceable songs which are rooted in pop but with a huge amount of soul which has become her trademark. Her live shows with her fabulous 7 piece band are memorable for the energy and sheer talent coming off the stage and she has gigged solidly globally for the last 12 months. In summer ’07 she returned to the arena stages after her singing prowess caught the eye (or should we say ear) of one Mr Lionel Richie, who was so impressed, he invited her to support him on his UK tour. Her other superstar collaborations include recently duetting with robin Gibb on “Islands in the Stream” as part of the “Against Breast Cancer” charity campaign. In November 2007 (one week before her wedding!) Tash added the string of entrepreneur to her bow as she and now husband Riad Erraji opened their first retail operation, the restaurant and bistro ‘Hamiltons’ in Liverpool’s exclusive Met Quarter and followed a week later with a nightclub ‘H’ in the city’s vibrant Victoria Street and have since added an incredible 14 more successful operations under their “H” brand in Liverpool's airport, train stations and at the iconic Pier Head. Meanwhile Natasha's collaboration with Mischa Daniels (the Armada Records single “Round and Round”) broke into the US top 20 dance singles and hit number 1 in Brazil adding yet another fantastic string to her bow and breaking a territory as a solo singer which had always eluded the Kittens...
