Liverpool has a reputation for its fun personality and this is an example of just that, we'll have a warm welcome to visitors coming from all over the country to take part and the atmosphere at the dash will be buzzing its gonna be lots of fun. I'd suggest to get their early as take part in the build up on the pier head. You can sign up online, its just a click away.”
Natasha continued, "The Santa Dash is a real family fun event which is great for kids and adults to enjoy and we need as much support as possible to break the guinness world record. Its fantastic the event is support ing the Text Santa Appeal where 6 charities will benefit from fundraising that will make a real difference to many people at christmas time. I am really looking forward to taking part and urge everyone across the UK to come visit Liverpool and see for yourself the sea of red and blue Santa's taking to the streets, it really is a spectacle."
Christmas is coming and already over 2,000 santa’s are on the run with entries growing. This year there are two targets. One will be to help smash the fund raising total of last year and the second will be to break the Guinness World Record for the Largest Santa Gathering which stands at a massive 13,000. The Liverpool Santa Dash has become the biggest Festive Fun Run in the U.K. and will once again be taking on the Las Vegas Great Santa Run for the title of World Santa Challenge – so there are two titles up for grabs this year.
More than 2,000 Santas have so far signed up to take part in the 9th Liverpool Santa Dash on 2nd December and entries are now flooding in.
This years charities are Age Uk, Anthony Nolan, Carers UK, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Together for Short Lives and Whizz-kidz. Those who enter the Dash will be encouraged to focus their fundraising efforts for Text Santa where 100% of fundraising will go to these six charities.
The Santa Dash is a 5K Festive Fun Run that started in Liverpool in 2004 and has grown in popularity every year. The event is open to runners, joggers and walkers and everyone has to take part in the Santa suit provided, even dogs can take part. There is also a special 1K Mini Dash for under 12s which takes place immediately after the main 5K run.
“This is going to be a great year for the event and hopefully we can get a lot closer to the massive total of 13,000 Dashing Santa's and bring the Guinness World Record back to Liverpool.”

ATOMIC KITTEN REUNITED!
Well guys you mite of hear or seen it coming through lots of fan request but an AK return is here!!. more details to follow, We are all so excited!! see you all very soon xx.
Whoopie! The summer sunshine is here in London and it's scorching! My mega white skin is in need if a bit of Vit D, but I have to say, I'm a careful sunner. Factor 30 all the way and make up with spf's in too! Let's all look after our skin please! The only trouble with me is though, I'm a bit freckly and when I wear my shades I always end up with darker freckles on the outside, lighter on the in, so I then have to fill in the gaps! Haha.
I'm just doing this blog from the comfort of the hair salon chair, sipping my coffee and preparing for this evening's show. We have a reviewer in tonight, so my heart rate is slightly raised, all good nervous energy though! I'm loving working on Blood Brothers, I feel as though I'm well and truly part of the team and learning lots of acting skills/techinques all the time. My dressing room is becoming a shrine to my boys. They draw me beautiful pics all the time so I put them up on the wall and whenever we go anywhere, I'll take a pic and put it up too. I also write notes to myself and put them up on my mirror like take off nail polish and remove watch!
So what else have I been up to? On Mother's day we had a lovely family day, with my parents too. We went to Zippo's circus, which was brill, at first Alfie wasn't too sure about the loud music and clowns but he soon got into the swing of things and by the end was clapping along with everyone! He was very cute. Josh and Harry loved all the stuntman bits, especially when 3 motorbikes were whizzing round a metal cage at the same time! Very dangerous indeed! There were beautiful horses that danced and bowed to us, and amazing aerial acts too. We couldn't say no either when asked to have our picture taken with the cutest Shetland pony. Afterwards we went for dinner and the boys entertained us lots. There's never a dull moment I tell ya!
I've also joined the gym and I'm really looking forward to getting a bit fitter. I've been on a few runs and did a body pump class too, which I've been paying for all week! Note to myself - take it easy next time.
It's the Easter hols too so I've been swimming lots, it was Alfie's first time in the pool and he loved it. When he was born it was into water so he deffo digs being in it, I could have sworn he almost swam! Josh and Harry pushed him round lots in his inflatable chair, it's great seeing them all play together.
My song for this week has to be 'Fade by Solu Musice ft KimBlee'. It came on the radio today and just made us all dance in the car. It's got the best sumner feel to it and you just can't help get up and dance to it! It's funky house and this style of music is what I love to go out and boogie to with my friends. Hope you enjoy!
I'll blog you all soon, enjoy the rays, Tash x
Natasha is delighted to announce that she is to star in Willy Russell's Blood Brothers in her West End debut! The show is directed by Bob Thomson and Bill Kenwright and designed by Marty Flood. Blood Brothers, which premiered in 1983 and has been at the West End's Phoenix theatre since 1991, tells the story of twin boys separated at birth, only to be re-united by a twist of fate and a mother’s haunting secret. The score includes “A Bright New Day”, “Marilyn Monroe” and the emotionally charged finale song “Tell MeIt’s Not True”. The show will premiere on the 24th January for 6 months.
